2019 Honda Odyssey

Trims and Mechanical Features
This model year’s Odyssey is available in five trim levels: LX, EX, EX-L, Touring, and Elite. All trims come with a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine paired with front-wheel drive. This engine produces 280 horsepower and 262 lb.-ft. of torque. It also delivers an EPA-estimated 19 mpg city and 28 mpg highway.
The base LX comes standard with 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, a rearview camera, power-adjustable front seats, and a 60/40-split folding third-row bench. The EX adds remote engine start, three-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, power-sliding rear doors, and some upgraded infotainment technology and advanced safety features. The EX-L includes a sunroof, power liftgate, leather interior, auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a quitter noise-reducing windshield. The EX-L also features an available navigation and rear entertainment system. The Touring receives LED headlights, a hands-free liftgate, rear-cabin monitoring system known as CabinWatch, and an integrated HondaVAC vacuum cleaner. The top-tier Elite trim upgrades to 19-inch wheels, even more noise-reducing technology, power-folding mirrors, and a premium audio system.
As a vehicle created for families, the Odyssey was designed with safety as the top priority. Honda was successful in their mission, considering that the Odyssey received 2019 Top Safety Pick from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS)*. All trims come standard with an advanced compatibility engineering body structure, advanced front airbags, SmartVent front side airbags, three-row side curtain airbags with a rollover sensor, driver’s and front passenger’s knee airbags, and several child safety features. The EX trim adds exceptional safety features such as adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning with lane keeping assist, and a blind-spot monitoring system with rear-cross traffic alert. The Touring and Elite trims also include front and rear parking sensors.
The Odyssey comes with a variety of technological features to keep everyone entertained. The entry-model LX even includes Bluetooth audio streaming, two USB ports, and a seven-speaker audio system. The EX trim adds an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, and satellite and HD radio. The EX-L offers an available rear-seat entertainment system that includes a 10.2-inch overhead display, a Blu-ray player, HDMI input, a 110-volt power outlet, and a cabin intercom system; these features come standard on the Touring and Elite trims. The Touring also adds a 4G LTE connection with a Wi-Fi hotspot and HondaLink services; the Elite trim adds wireless phone charging and an 11-speaker premium audio system.
