2022 Honda Accord for Sale in West Warwick, RI

Overview
The Honda Accord is a stalwart of the midsized sedan segment that has maintained its popularity decade after decade. Drivers appreciate its build quality, abundant features, fuel efficiency, and longevity. The 2022 Accord keeps this up with all of the above, plus a standard suite of advanced safety features to keep everyone as safe as possible. Let’s look closer at the details of the latest version of this crowd-pleasing four-door.
Mechanical Specs and Trim Levels
The ’22 Honda Accord comes in six trim levels: LX, Sport, Sport Special Edition, EX-L, Sport 2.0T, and Touring. The first four in that list have a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 192 hp and 192 lb.-ft. of torque. If you’re interested in more vigor, look to the Sport 2.0T and Touring and their turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, which makes 252 hp and 273 lb.-ft. of torque. The 1.5-liter engines are paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), while the 2.0-liter mills go with a traditional 10-speed automatic. Front-wheel drive is standard across the board.
The ’22 Accord is a highly efficient car, making it an especially good choice for commuters. The LX and EX-L achieve an EPA-estimated 30 mpg around town and 38 mpg on the highway, while the Sport and Sport Special Edition return 29 city/35 highway. The Sport 2.0T and Touring are slightly less efficient with their rating of 22 city/32 highway, but that’s because they generate that satisfying additional power.
Standard Equipment
The LX comes with auto on/off LED headlights, keyless entry and push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, driver and front passenger auto-up/down windows, a sunglasses holder in the overhead console, HondaLink remote vehicle services, two 12-volt power outlets, two front console USB data ports, and a folding rear-seat center armrest. The Sport provides a few track-inspired touches such as a chrome exhaust, a decklid spoiler, and sport pedals. It also has LED fog lights, a lockable glovebox, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a power driver’s seat, two second-row USB charging ports, and a 60/40-split fold-down rear seatback.
The Sport Special Edition adds an advanced keyless entry/exit system called Smart Entry with Walk Away Auto Lock, which lets you leave the key fob in your purse or pocket when you unlock or lock the doors. It also gets heated front seats, heated side mirrors, an active shutter grille, a power front passenger’s seat, and leather upholstery. The EX-L omits the chrome exhaust, decklid spoiler, and sport pedals, and it also trades a USB data port for a USB charging port. Its upgrades are LED turn-signal indicators for the exterior mirrors, a moonroof, courtesy lights, parking sensors (two in front and four in the rear), a wireless phone charger, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a HomeLink universal garage door opener, and position memory for the driver’s seat.
The Sport 2.0T returns the athletic attributes absent in the EX-L, along with most of that trim’s upscale contents (the advanced keyless entry/exit, heated side mirrors and front seats, moonroof, driver’s-side seatback pocket, and wireless phone charger.) The Touring builds off the EX-L with chrome exterior accents, rain-sensing wipers, reverse-gear tilt-down for the passenger-side mirror, two additional front parking sensors, door-pull ambient lighting, a head-up display, ventilated front seats, heated rear outboard seats, and HondaLink subscription services.
Advanced Safety Technology
Every ’22 Accord trim comes with a medley of advanced safety features, which includes collision mitigation braking, road departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, and automatic high beams. The Sport Special Edition adds a rear seat reminder, while the EX-L and Sport 2.0T receive blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. At the top of the trim range, the Touring gets low-speed anti-collision braking.
Infotainment and Connectivity
The LX has all of the essentials and then some in its infotainment system: a crystal-clear 8-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (plug-in version), and a four-speaker sound system. The Sport gets SMS text messaging and an eight-speaker sound system, while the Sport Special Edition receives wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The EX-L and Sport 2.0T deliver SiriusXM satellite radio, HD radio, and a 10-speaker sound system, while the Touring trim is loaded with integrated navigation, voice recognition, and an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot.
