The ‘24 Accord Hybrid’s feature sets are divided into the ascending hierarchy of Sport, EX-L, Sport-L, and Touring. Their powertrain is a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder paired with an electronic continuously variable transmission (e-CVT) and two hybrid motors—one to start the engine and one for torque-heavy acceleration. This setup is capable of producing up to 204 horsepower and 247 lb.-ft. of torque. The EX-L delivers the best fuel economy ratings at an EPA-estimated 51 mpg on city streets and 44 mpg cruising the highway, while the remaining trims achieve 46 city/41 highway.
The Sport cabin comes well appointed with remote start, a power moonroof, LED headlights with auto on/off, LED taillights, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 10-way power adjustable driver’s seat, a 10.2-inch driver information interface, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, push-button start, sport pedals, a front USB port, a 12V power outlet in the center console, gloss-black power side mirrors, and Smart Entry With Walk Away Auto Lock. The EX-L trades gloss-black exterior mirrors for body-colored heated mirrors, alongside leather-trimmed heated front seating, two-position memory for the driver’s seat, a four-way power adjustable passenger’s seat, two second-row USB charge ports, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
The appearance-focused Sport-L is equipped similarly (minus the auto-dimming rearview mirror) but it’s distinguished by 19-inch matte-black alloy wheels, gloss-black heated side mirrors, a gloss-black decklid spoiler, rear diffuser, and unique sport pedals. The Touring combines comfort and convenience with ventilated front seats, heated rear outboard seats, a 6-inch head-up display, rain-sensing windshield wipers, reverse gear tilt-down for the passenger-side mirror with, a wireless phone charge pad, and a Bose premium audio system.
Driver awareness and accident prevention are at the forefront of every Accord Hybrid with the help of the Honda Sensing suite. All trims get automatic high-beams, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, collision mitigation braking, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, traffic jam assist, road departure mitigation, a driver attention monitor, traffic sign recognition, and a blind-spot information system. Parking sensors are added to the EX-L and Touring. The Touring also gains low-speed braking control.
All 2024 Accord Hybrids come with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system to access features like wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Alexa Built-In, Bluetooth HandsFreeLink and streaming audio, SMS text messaging, and Wi-Fi hotspot capability.
