The ‘25 Accord Hybrid lineup has four trims: Sport Hybrid, EX-L Hybrid, Sport-L Hybrid, and Touring Hybrid. The powertrain consists of an inline 4-cylinder, two electric motors, a high-voltage lithium-ion battery, and an electronic continuously variable transmission. In terms of performance, it will produce up to 204 horsepower and 247 lb.-ft. of torque, but fuel economy ratings will vary depending on the trim. The EX-L Hybrid gets an EPA-estimated 51 mpg city/44 mpg highway, while all other trims return 46 mpg city/41 mpg highway. Also, every ‘25 Accord Hybrid has a front-wheel drivetrain and a 4-mode drive selector that can be set to Sport, ECON, Individual, or Normal.
The Sport Hybrid has a power moonroof, a gloss-black rear spoiler (exclusive to the Sport and Sport-L), power side mirrors, remote engine start, a security system with remote entry and trunk release, Smart Entry with Walk Away Auto Lock, 19-inch machine-finished alloy wheels with black inserts, and LED exterior lighting across the headlights, daytime running lights, and taillights. Inside, there’s the aforementioned heated front seats and wireless phone charger, along with black cloth upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, sport pedals, a 10.2-inch driver information interface, three USB-C ports (one front/two rear), and a 12-volt power outlet.
The EX-L Hybrid changes its appearance with 17-inch Pewter-painted alloy wheels and leather-trimmed seating, while also adding memory settings to the driver’s seat, a 4-way power-adjustable passenger’s seat, and an automatic-dimming rearview mirror. The sport pedals and black rear spoiler make their return to the Sport-L Hybrid, and its 19-inch alloy wheels have a matte-black design. The Touring Hybrid’s cabin is both quiet and comfortable thanks to acoustic front-door glass and laminate windshield, a heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, and heated outboard rear seats. Its other standard amenities include a head-up display, rain-sensing windshield wipers, heated power side mirrors, and 19-inch machine-finished alloy wheels with black inserts.
“Safety for Everyone” is the worldwide initiative by Honda that’s dedicated to significantly reducing traffic collision fatalities by 2030. It’s evident that this commitment is front and center on the 2025 Accord Hybrid, as all trims have Honda Sensing installed. The safety technologies within this important suite are forward collision warning, collision mitigation braking, adaptive cruise control, a blind spot information system with cross traffic monitor, road departure mitigation, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, traffic jam assist, a driver attention monitor, traffic sign recognition, and auto high-beam headlights. Every trim also gets rear seat reminder, a stolen vehicle locator, and an automatic collision notification system, which is designed to contact emergency services if you’re in a major collision. The EX-L Hybrid adds parking sensors, although these are not found on the Sport-L Hybrid. The Touring Hybrid is the only trim that receives low-speed braking control.
The ‘25 Accord Hybrid is a tech-filled sedan, with every trim receiving a 12.3-inch color touchscreen multimedia system with wireless Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth HandsFreeLink and audio streaming, SMS text messaging, Alexa Built-in, a Wi-Fi hotspot, access to the HondaLink app and subscription services, and a radio data system. Plus, owners get access to the HondaLink app and its various services (with a trial subscription). The Touring Hybrid adds Google built-in apps and HD Radio and trades the standard 8-speaker sound system for a premium Bose unit with 12 speakers.
