In its gas-only form (we cover the hybrid variant separately), the ’25 Accord keeps things nice and simple with a choice of two trims: LX and SE. They get their propulsion from a 192-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine working with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and a front-wheel drivetrain. The Accord’s fuel efficiency is one of its top attractions, with both trims returning an EPA-estimated 29 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway.
Your dollar certainly goes a long way when you choose the 2025 Accord, as the base trim, the LX, is set up with proximity keyless entry, automatic LED headlights, push-button ignition, power side-view mirrors, automatic climate control (one zone), cruise control, an overhead console compartment for sunglasses, illuminated vanity mirrors, front and rear beverage holders, four USB-C ports (two in the front console and two in the second row), and a customizable 10.2-inch driver information display. The debuting SE adds further refinement with a moonroof, an additional automatic climate control zone, heated front seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a 60/40-split fold-down rear seatback, and a lockable glovebox for protecting smaller valuables.
The Honda Sensing driver-assist technology suite comes standard on both trims. This critical standard package contains forward collision warning, lane departure warning, collision mitigation braking, road departure mitigation, lane keeping assist, traffic jam assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, automatic high beams, and driver attention monitoring. As the higher trim, the SE also gets blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.
The infotainment system in the 2025 Accord is housed within a 7-inch touchscreen with all of the in-demand features: Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming. While the LX receives four speakers for its audio system, the SE doubles the amount eight speakers for a more complete listening experience.
