The 2025 Odyssey is a stylish eight-passenger minivan that Honda makes available in four trim packages: EX-L, Sport-L, Touring, and Elite. They all spring into action thanks to a robust 3.5-liter V6 engine that makes 280 hp and 262 lb.-ft. of torque. It’s paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive (AWD). According to the official fuel economy estimates performed by the EPA, the ‘25 Odyssey returns 19 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. It can also tow as much as 3,500 pounds.
As the base trim, the Odyssey EX-L comes with an array of premium amenities, including leather upholstery (front and outboard second row), a leather-wrapped steering wheel, push-button ignition, tri-zone automatic climate control, a moonroof, a power liftgate, proximity keyless entry, heated side mirrors (with position memory, turn-signal indicators, and reverse gear tilt-down), blue ambient interior lighting, manual second-row sunshades, power-sliding doors, auto-on/off LED headlights, and LED fog lights. For seating, the EX-L boasts heated and power-adjustable front-row seats with position memory for the driver, the configurable Magic Slide second-row seat, and the one-motion 60/40-split third-row Magic Seat. The EX-L’s tech features are noteworthy as well, with the likes of wireless phone charging, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink, a 7-inch gauge cluster, and three USB-C charging ports.
The Sport-L is similar to the EX-L, but it has a slightly more aggressive design and swaps the blue ambient lighting for red. The Touring returns to blue ambient lighting and adds enhanced leather seats with unique piping, third-row sunshades, CabinWatch (a rear-seat camera system), and CabinTalk (Honda’s in-car PA system). The Touring also receives a rear entertainment system with a 12.8-inch display, an HDMI interface, and a third-row headphone jack. The range-topping Elite goes heavy on the luxury, providing perforated leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, rain-sensing windshield wipers, auto-dimming and power-folding side mirrors, and a hands-free liftgate.
The Honda Sensing suite comes standard in each ‘25 Odyssey trim, equipping them with collision mitigation braking, road departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, lane-keeping assist, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, driver attention monitoring, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic high beams. For additional peace of mind, the Touring and Elite also get front and rear parking sensors.
Both the EX-L and Sport-L feature a sleek and modern 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, HD Radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a seven-speaker audio system, and Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming. The features list grows starting with the Touring, as onboard navigation, voice recognition, and HondaLink subscription services are added. The Elite gets all of the above plus a first-rate 11-speaker sound system featuring multi-zone audio.
