The 2025 Ridgeline is a unibody-constructed pickup truck offered in four distinct trim packages: Sport, RTL, TrailSport, and Black Edition. The 3.5-liter V6 engine generating 280 hp and 262 lb.-ft. of torque is outfitted in each, accompanied by a smooth-shifting 9-speed automatic transmission that powers the standard all-wheel drive system. Fuel economy is competitive, with most trims returning an EPA-estimated 18 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway (the TrailSport sacrifices just a single mpg in its highway fuel economy). All trims get a factory-installed Class III trailer hitch with a 7-pin connector and can pull as much as 5,000 pounds.
The Sport deserves high praise for its ample supply of quality amenities, including remote start, proximity keyless entry, push-button ignition, a wireless phone charger, tri-zone automatic climate control, a 7-inch gauge cluster, two USB ports (one Type-A data and one Type-C charging), and a 60/40-split rear seat that lifts to reveal hidden under-seat storage. The standard exterior highlights include LED headlights, LED fog lights, and a dual-action tailgate that opens to a durable cargo bed with a built-in trunk and eight heavy-duty tie-down cleats. The RTL is glossed up with leather upholstery, heated power-adjustable front seats (with position memory for the driver), a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a moonroof, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink, a power-sliding rear window, and an acoustic windshield to help reduce unwanted cabin noise.
The TrailSport adds a rugged touch with an off-road suspension and all-terrain tires. Inside, it has a heated steering wheel, power-folding exterior mirrors, all-weather floor mats, and illuminated cup holders; orange contrast stitching and ambient lighting add to the atmosphere. The top-of-the-line Black Edition carries over many of the TrailSport’s upscale amenities, like the heated steering wheel, power-folding side mirrors, and illuminated cup holders. On top of that, it gets ventilated front seats, heated rear outboard seats, two second-row USB-C ports, red interior contrast stitching and ambient lighting, LED truck-bed lights, and a truck-bed power outlet.
Every 2025 Ridgeline trim is equipped with the Honda Sensing suite of advanced driver-assist technologies, a list that includes forward collision warning, collision mitigation braking, road departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic high beams. The TrailSport and Black Edition also come with front and rear parking sensors.
The multimedia system consists of a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, an audio system with seven speakers, and Bluetooth hands-free connectivity. The RTL and higher add SiriusXM satellite radio. In the TrailSport and Black Edition, integrated navigation and voice recognition are added. The Black Edition is the only trim that’s upgraded with HD Radio and a premium eight-speaker audio system.
