Drivers shopping for a ’26 CR-V Hybrid have the choice of four trims: Sport, TrailSport, Sport-L, and Sport Touring. The inline 4-cylinder engine (which produces 145 horsepower on its own) and two electric motors (generating 247 lb.-ft. of torque) net 204 combined horsepower and are paired with an electronic continuously variable transmission (E-CVT) with b-range shift and deceleration selectors. The Sport and Sport-L lead the lineup in fuel economy, achieving 43 mpg city and 36 mpg highway with their standard front-wheel drivetrain (FWD). This dips to 40 city/34 highway with the available real-time all-wheel drive (AWD) and Intelligent Control System. The Sport Touring comes only with AWD and matches the lower trims’ fuel economy in that drivetrain, while the AWD-only TrailSport returns 38 city/33 highway.
All trims have a fuel-conserving idle-stop function and a 1,000-pound towing capacity. Every CR-V Hybrid comes with a drive-mode selector—the three lower trims offer Sport, Normal, Econ, and Snow settings, joined by the driver-customizable Individual mode on the Sport Touring.
The Sport has a cloth interior, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support, a manually adjustable front passenger seat, a one-touch power/tilt moonroof, heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a 7-inch TFT digital meter display, two-zone automatic A/C with rear-seat vents, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, wireless smartphone charging, four USB-C ports (one media input, three charging), push-button start, auto up/down front windows, one-touch turn signal indicators, LED map lights, LED cargo-area lights, white LED ambient interior lighting, illuminated vanity mirrors, cargo tie-down anchors, rear privacy glass, a rear-seat center armrest, and a driver-side garment hook. Its exterior features consist of remote entry, a power liftgate with programmable height, power heated exterior mirrors with integrated LED turn indicators, LED auto-on/off headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, an active shutter grille, a hood damper, Smart Entry with Walk Away Auto Lock, black roof rails, a one-push capless fuel filler, dual chrome-tipped exhaust pipes, and 18-inch gloss-black alloy wheels.
The TrailSport gets a heated steering wheel, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a trim-exclusive front end with a skid-plate accent, orange upholstery stitching, amber LED ambient interior lighting, gloss-black exterior elements, and 18-inch Shark Gray alloy wheels with Continental CrossContact ATR all-terrain tires.
The Sport-L loses the heated steering wheel but receives leather seats, a driver’s seat with 2-way memory, a 4-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, auto up/down front and rear windows, and 18-inch gloss-black alloy wheels. The Sport Touring brings back the heated steering wheel and adds 19-inch gloss-black alloy wheels and hands-free access to the programmable power liftgate.
The entire 2026 CR-V Hybrid lineup has elements of the Honda Sensing technology suite. The Sport-L and Sport Touring also get front and rear parking sensors. Every CR-V Hybrid has vehicle stability assist with brake-traction control, an acoustic vehicle alerting system, automatic high beams, a rearview camera with dynamic gridlines, and a rear seat reminder, which are joined by low-speed braking control on the Sport-L and Sport Touring.
The CR-V Hybrid’s updated infotainment suite showcases a 9-inch multimedia touchscreen, standard wireless smartphone connectivity (Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming, and HD Radio. The Sport channels its audio through a 240-watt sound system with six speakers, while the TrailSport and Sport-L get upgraded to a 320-watt unit with eight speakers. The Sport Touring alone boasts a Google built-in basis for its infotainment system, with a premium Bose audio upgrade with 12 speakers and a subwoofer.
