Honda’s ever-popular Accord is deserving of a spot in the hall of fame of midsized family sedans – maybe even the top spot. The 2025 model year introduces a new trim level called SE, which replaces the EX as the level-two option. It comes with blacked-out exterior accents, black 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels, and a cabin featuring a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, and heated front seats. Honda has also made rear AC vents and a pair of rear USB-C ports standard on all Accord trims.

In its gas-only form (we cover the hybrid variant separately), the ’25 Accord keeps things nice and simple with a choice of two trims: LX and SE. They get their propulsion from a 192-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine working with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and a front-wheel drivetrain. The Accord’s fuel efficiency is one of its top attractions, with both trims returning an EPA-estimated 29 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway.
Standard Features
Your dollar certainly goes a long way when you choose the 2025 Accord, as the base trim, the LX, is set up with proximity keyless entry, automatic LED headlights, push-button ignition, power side-view mirrors, automatic climate control (one zone), cruise control, an overhead console compartment for sunglasses, illuminated vanity mirrors, front and rear beverage holders, four USB-C ports (two in the front console and two in the second row), and a customizable 10.2-inch driver information display. The debuting SE adds further refinement with a moonroof, an additional automatic climate control zone, heated front seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a 60/40-split fold-down rear seatback, and a lockable glovebox for protecting smaller valuables.
Driver-Assist Technology
The Honda Sensing driver-assist technology suite comes standard on both trims. This critical standard package contains forward collision warning, lane departure warning, collision mitigation braking, road departure mitigation, lane keeping assist, traffic jam assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, automatic high beams, and driver attention monitoring. As the higher trim, the SE also gets blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.
Infotainment and Connectivity
The infotainment system in the 2025 Accord is housed within a 7-inch touchscreen with all of the in-demand features: Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming. While the LX receives four speakers for its audio system, the SE doubles the amount eight speakers for a more complete listening experience.
