Civic Si
The Civic Si, which gives a “Sport Injection” of performance edge to its practical namesake, is back with a few changes for the 2026 model year. Some upgrades over its predecessor are a revised infotainment system with Amazon Alexa built-in, an updated Honda Sensing driver-assist suite (now with traffic sign recognition), a new electric parking brake, and an acoustic windshield to limit outside noise in the cabin. The ‘26 Civic Si retains the cosmetic changes introduced to the entire Civic family last model year, including its distinctive front fascia and grille.
Honda’s mid-range compact performance sedan outperforms its standard counterpart with 50 extra ponies, plus an added boost pressure of 17.8 psi. That said, the Civic Si achieves 31 combined mpg, which is only slightly lower than the Civic’s 36 mpg (city/highway combined) fuel economy, making it a reasonably fuel-efficient option without sacrificing excitement. Perhaps the most important aspect to true driving enthusiasts is that the Civic Si continues to provide a coveted feature that most automakers have abandoned: the six-speed manual transmission. Honda adds rev-matching control for a truly outstanding effect.

The 2026 Civic Si’s peppy turbocharged 1.5-liter inline 4-cylinder engine produces 200 horsepower and 192 lb.-ft. of torque with a boost pressure of 17.8 psi. It comes only with a 6-speed manual transmission with rev-matching and an LED shift indicator light. The model’s drive-mode selector allows the driver to choose from settings labeled Normal, Sport, and the Individual (customizable) to fit the moment’s on-road situation.
This enhanced model’s lightweight single-mass flywheel improves acceleration, and its helical limited-slip differential optimizes traction and grip through corners. The Si rides on MacPherson front struts and a multi-link rear suspension, both equipped with stabilizer bars. The power-assisted, ventilated front disc brakes measure 12.3 inches, while the solid rear disc brakes are 11.1 inches. The Civic Si’s front-wheel-drivetrain helps to keep it fuel-efficient at an estimated 27 mpg city/37 mpg highway.
Standard Equipment
The Civic Si is well set up with heated front sport seats, a one-touch power tilt moonroof, automatic climate control, aluminum sport pedals, an aluminum shift knob with leather trim, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Smart Entry with Walk Away Auto Lock, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a gloss-black decklid spoiler, chrome exhaust pipe tips, and 18-inch matte-black alloy wheels. It has full LED exterior lighting (auto-on/off headlights, taillights, daytime running lights, and brake and side marker lights) and heated power side-view mirrors. Among its other standard features are push-button ignition, a stopwatch, a push-to-release capless fuel filler, red ambient interior lighting, two USB-C ports, a 12-volt power outlet, one-touch turn indicators, illuminated vanity mirrors, a black headliner, and 60/40-split fold-down rear seats with an armrest and beverage holders.
