Ridgeline
Model year 2026 marks the Honda Ridgeline’s 20th anniversary. Its alluring combination of rugged capability, smart packaging, refined comfort, and carlike handling continues to set it apart in the midsized truck segment. Built in Alabama, the Ridgeline takes a different path than traditional pickups, thanks to a unibody platform and fully independent suspension. The result is crossover-like driving manners with a spacious cabin that doesn’t sacrifice truck functionality. Other Ridgeline innovations include the industry’s first dual-action tailgate and in-bed trunk.
This model year also brings new exterior color options to the Ridgeline. The TrailSport trim gains an exclusive Ash Green Metallic paint choice that first appeared on the Passport TrailSport. Meanwhile, the top-tier Black Edition can now be ordered as the Two-Tone variant with a contrasting black roof and Honda’s Sonic Gray Pearl or Platinum White Pearl exterior.

The 2026 Ridgeline comes to you in four trims: Sport, RTL, TrailSport, and Black Edition. Their power comes from a 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 280 horsepower; it’s paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is standard.
The official EPA fuel economy estimates are 18 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway for all but the TrailSport, which is rated at 18 mpg around town and 23 mpg on the open road. The Ridgeline is rated to tow up to 5,000 pounds, with payload capacity varying a bit by trim from just over 1,500 to nearly 1,600 pounds. Every trim gets a compact spare tire, and the in-bed trunk can hold 7.3 cubic feet of cargo.
Standard Features
Even the base Ridgeline Sport is well equipped with the likes of remote start, tri-zone automatic climate control, proximity keyless entry, push-button start, automatic LED low-beam headlights, a 60/40-split second row with under-seat storage, a 7-inch information display, fabric upholstery, a tilt-and-telescopic steering column, rear privacy glass, power side mirrors, dual USB ports, wireless device charging, and 18-inch alloy wheels. A dual-action tailgate, a lockable in-bed trunk, a Class III trailer hitch with a seven-pin connector, and cargo bed lighting with tie-downs make the Ridgeline undeniably a pickup truck.
The RTL adds upscale amenities such as leather upholstery, a power moonroof, heated front seats, a ten-way power driver’s seat, a driver’s memory system, and a four-way power passenger seat. Honda also gives this trim a power-sliding rear window, heated power exterior mirrors, sound-reducing windshield glass, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The TrailSport emphasizes off-road readiness with a specially tuned suspension, steel underbody protection, and all-terrain tires. Its interior upgrades include leatherette upholstery, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel with orange stitching, heated power-folding exterior mirrors, LED ambient cabin lighting, and LED daytime running lights. It can be ordered with HPD wheels (18-inch alloys with black lug nuts and HPD center caps).
At the top of the lineup, the Black Edition enhances the RTL’s amenities with heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear outboard seats, heated power-folding exterior mirrors, LED cargo bed lighting, a cargo bed power outlet, and additional USB ports in the second row. It also gets red ambient cabin lighting as well as red stitching for the steering-wheel wrap.
Advanced Driver Aids
Every ’26 Ridgeline comes equipped with the Honda Sensing array of driver-assist technologies. This suite includes forward collision warning, collision mitigation braking, road departure mitigation, blind-spot monitoring, cross-traffic monitoring, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams. Front and rear parking sensors are standard on the TrailSport and Black Edition trims. Other safety essentials found on all four trims include anti-lock brakes, airbags, stability control, traction control, hill start assist, and a rearview monitor with dynamic guidelines.
Infotainment and Connectivity
Infotainment is conveyed through a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth. Navigation is included on the TrailSport and Black Edition, while SiriusXM satellite radio is standard on all but the Sport. Every 2026 Ridgeline comes with access to HondaLink remote services. A 215-watt sound system with seven speakers graces most trims, with the exception being the Black Edition: it’s upgraded with a premium 540-watt system with eight speakers. Both audio setups include a subwoofer.
