2026 Honda Odyssey Hero

While the family-centric minivan may not exude the same sense of sophistication or excitement as other vehicle categories, Honda gives the segment a run for its money. The Odyssey continues to uphold the reputation it set over 30 years ago, bringing technology upgrades for the 2026 model year to make the nameplate even more comfortable and practical. The CabinTalk in-car PA system and Wi-Fi hotspot capability are now standard across the lineup, and multi-zone audio – previously exclusive to the Elite trim – is now included on the Touring. The style refresh from the 2025 model year is carried over, retaining the fresh front-end design that gives the Odyssey a more commanding look than most minivans.

The Odyssey has long provided those seeking passenger space without bulk with the comfort they need, along with the functionality they require in a dedicated people mover. With room for eight passengers, up to 38.6 cubic feet of cargo space when fully loaded, and an available hands-free liftgate, the 2026 Odyssey continues to offer comfort for the crew and convenient cargo solutions.

Trims and Powertrain

Honda offers 2026 Odyssey buyers a choice of four trims: EX-L, Sport-L, Touring, and Elite. The powertrain unites a 3.5-liter V6 engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, producing 280 horsepower and 262 lb.-ft. of torque. The lineup gets a front-wheel drivetrain (FWD) and returns an EPA-estimated 19 mpg city and 28 mpg highway. All trims come with Honda’s Eco Assist System and Intelligent Traction Management System with Snow Mode. Although its primary duty is to move people, it can tow up to 3,500 pounds with the proper equipment. All Odysseys are outfitted with MacPherson front struts and a compact multi-link rear suspension featuring trailing arms and front and rear stabilizer bars.
