The Prelude was an icon in the middle stage of Honda’s history, reigning as a sport coupe from 1979 to 2001. The 2026 Prelude Hybrid blends that classic sporty two-door look with gas-electric power, torque, and efficiency. Its dual-motor hybrid system produces 200 combined horsepower while achieving up to 46 mpg. Honda’s Type R chassis, dual-axis front suspension, and adaptive dampers give the Prelude Hybrid a satisfyingly responsive ride. The proprietary S+ Shift transmission makes its debut with the simulation of dual-clutch shifting for increased driver engagement, with additional upgrades such as Brembo brake calipers. The Prelude Hybrid’s low-profile hatchback design, wide stance, and distinctive LED lighting give it an undeniably confident presence.
